Sowing:
Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in seed-starting trays or pots filled with a high-quality seed-starting mix. Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-75°F (21-24°C) during the germination period.
Germination:
Germination typically takes 10-20 days. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Provide adequate light, using grow lights if necessary, to ensure 12-16 hours of light per day.
Transplanting:
Once seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves and are large enough to handle, transplant them to larger pots or directly into the garden. Space plants 12-18 inches apart to allow for mature growth. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil.
Care and Maintenance:
