Sunlight: Monkey face orchids thrive in cool, dim, and misty conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can damage the plant. Keep it in a shaded area away from windows, as bright light is not necessary for growth.

Soil: These orchids require a special orchid mix with a chunky texture, rather than regular potting soil. You can create your own mix using fir bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss. The soil pH should be between 5.5 to 7.0 (acidic to neutral).
