Soak: Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours to help soften the seed coat and enhance germination.
Sow: Fill a small pot with a well-draining potting mix, leaving about an inch of space at the top. Plant the seeds about ¼ inch deep, pressing them gently into the soil.
Water & Light: Water the potting mix thoroughly, but avoid overwatering, as the plant prefers slightly dry soil. Place the pot in a warm, sunny spot that receives at least six hours of sunlight each day.
Germination: Keep the soil moist but not soggy, as the seeds may take several weeks to germinate. Once seedlings appear, ensure they get plenty of light and maintain moist soil.
Transplant: Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots or directly into the ground. The plant prefers well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Water regularly, but avoid letting the soil become waterlogged.
