Planting Instructions:
Seed Preparation:
Soak seeds in water for 12-24 hours before planting to speed up germination.
Sowing:
Direct sow seeds outdoors after the last frost when the soil temperature is at least 70°F (21°C). Plant seeds 1 inch deep in mounds or hills, spacing mounds 4-6 feet apart. If starting indoors, sow seeds in peat pots 2-4 weeks before the last frost date. Transplant outdoors when seedlings have two true leaves.
Germination:
Seeds will germinate in 7-10 days under optimal conditions. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged during the germination period.
Transplanting:
If started indoors, transplant seedlings outdoors once they have at least two true leaves and the risk of frost has passed. Space plants 3-5 feet apart in rows 8-12 feet apart.
Care and Maintenance:
Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Deep watering is recommended to encourage deep root growth. Mulch around the plants to retain soil moisture and reduce weeds. Train the vines to grow in the desired direction and provide support if necessary. Monitor for pests such as squash bugs and aphids, and use appropriate organic or chemical controls if needed. Harvest pumpkins when they are fully mature, with a uniform pink color and a hard rind. Cut the stem with a sharp knife, leaving a few inches of stem attached to the pumpkin.

The pumpkins are so realistic! Beautiful coloring, shapes and sizes. They even have natural looking stems. Originally I purchased these for outdoor decorating however they were so nice I used them indoors.
